Diversity of the School Assembly

"A school that is filled with vibrant energy,

Holding the sun of knowledge in the hands of prayer."

Music is the soul of the light of knowledge. The daily school assembly is based on music. The assembly begins with musical adornment and concludes with a musical recitation. In the assembly, children learn various types of songs including prayer songs, joyful songs, motivational songs, environmental songs, devotional songs, inspirational songs, ballads, folk songs, spiritual songs, and hymns.

Children are introduced to the art of music from an early age. Therefore, for the past 18 years, students from grades one to four have been preparing for the two music exams of the All India Gandharva Mandal in the assembly itself.

Children are always in search of novelty. Therefore, to introduce them to distinguished individuals from various fields and to provide information about their work, as well as to establish effective communication, various notable individuals are invited to the assembly. Children have interacted with renowned educationists like Chancellor Shri Janardhan Waghmare, education enthusiasts Gopalrao Patil, literacy advocate Nana Laabhe, editor of Vayam Shubhada Chaukar, experimental artist Abha Bhagwat, Director of Education Govind Nandede, film personalities Arun Nalawade, Veena Jamkar, Nandu Madhav, writer and artist Madhuri Purandare, as well as members of the Anti-Superstition Committee Mukta Dabholkar, Madhav Bawge, education expert Nagorao Kumbhar, and Principal Somnath Rode. Recently, the students also engaged in a question-and-answer session with psychologist Dr. Anand Nadkarni.

Inviting individuals from various sectors of society facilitates communication through question-and-answer sessions. Interactions occur with performers like Potraj, Aaradhi, Gondhali, Vasudev, Pungi player, Bahurupi, Warkari, weaver, vegetable vendor, engineer, architect, experts in various subjects, astronomer, bank manager, ideal farmer, ambulance driver, and police officers from different departments of the school. Through these interactions, children learn and continue to communicate.
