The head of the institute Mr. Satish Narhare has an experience 27 years of in the field of education through Narhare classes. For the past many years, he has insisted that education should be enjoyable while teaching. It was thought that the teacher's role should be to provide the right environment by encouraging the children, and encouraging them to learn. It was always felt that the experimental teacher can do a lot from the experience of his own experiment but for that the teacher should get independence from the institution and respect from the parents. Primary education was being neglected in the popular Latur pattern for 10th and 12th. It was felt that one teacher cannot do justice to 70 to 80 students in a class in a school. Dnyanprakash Foundation started Dnyanprakash Bal Bhavan (age group 3 to 6) in 1999 with an aim to consciously experiment in child education. Marathi classes from 1st to 4th were also started with a limited number of students without taking any government subsidy. The parents' faith in the experimental knowledge driven by the creativity of the teachers continued to grow.
To think independently, to be able to wander in the world of ideas, to express one's feelings and to solve the problems that come up from time to time, to interact with people in the society, to be able to communicate with oneself, all these things are easily possible by learning from the mother tongue. Visits were made to many experimental teachers and schools in urban areas and an all-inclusive working system of Dnyanprakash was prepared.
Today, Dnyanprakash has carved a unique place in Latur's academic world. Dnyanprakash has become an innovative centre in child education running in three departments namely Balbhavan, Balvikas Kendra and Vidyaniketan, with the trust of the teachers who are eager for the project, the children who respond passionately and the numerous parents and well-wishers who love the work of Dnyanprakash. Despite the increasing trend of parents towards English medium schools, every year 300 to 400 parents register their child's name in the waiting list for admission in Dnyanprakash. Parents do not make any demands once the number of admissions is completed by understanding the transparency in the admission process. The 650 students of Dnyanprakash, their parents, dedicated teachers and staff have become an integral part of the Dnyanprakash project. Dnyanprakash is also known as the school of experimental teachers.
