A child is born with a radiant reservoir of potential; it needs nurturing and a conducive environment to blossom.
Since 1999, the Dnyanprakash Educational Project has been experimenting with various methods in early childhood education. In Latur’s educational landscape, Dnyanprakash has established itself as an institution that offers joyful learning.
As it moves towards its silver jubilee year, the project continues to work towards the goals and objectives set 25 years ago. Learning through the effective medium of one’s mother tongue and experiences becomes an integral part of a child’s personality, as evidenced by the experience of Narhare Classes. This idea led to the inception of the Dnyanprakash Educational Project.
In its 24-year journey, Dnyanprakash has conducted numerous experiments, all of which have been successful. Today, Dnyanprakash’s students excel in various fields, and this success is attributed to the consciously chosen Marathi medium. This medium facilitates seamless learning, enhances creativity and activity, and provides diverse opportunities for holistic development.
Every child has certain capabilities, but excessive expectations from parents and teachers can put undue pressure on them, creating obstacles to learning and reducing their interest. The institution does not equate success with merely scoring higher marks in exams. Instead, it believes that students should carve their own paths, learning through experience and observation, with teachers serving as guides. The institution aims for children to become self-reliant, sensitive, understand the value of dignity of labor, and develop social awareness—this is the core purpose of education.
