A Conversation with Institute Head Mr. Satish Narhare

In a recent conversation with staff and parents, the head of the institution reflected on Dnyanprakash's founding years and the values the school has carried forward.

Mr. Narhare described the 1989 beginnings of Narhare Classes, when he began to see how mother-tongue instruction changed his students' relationship with mathematics. Over the next decade those observations — about joy, about stress, about the difference between memorising and understanding — became the foundation of Dnyanprakash when he and Mrs. Savita Narhare founded the school in 1999.

We want children to leave Dnyanprakash disciplined, of sound character, sensitive to the world around them, and devoted to something larger than themselves.

He closed by reminding the audience that the school's motto — Know & Inspire — is not a slogan but a daily practice.
