Balvikas Kendra (Grades 1–4)
Balvikas Kendra is our primary division, Grades 1 through 4. It is where children consolidate reading and writing in Marathi, build confidence with numbers, and begin to encounter subject specialists.
A day at Balvikas Kendra
- Morning assembly and reading circle
- Two subject blocks (Marathi, Math, English or EVS)
- Short break with outdoor play
- Creative block: art, music or nature
- Lunch and quiet reading
- Afternoon activity: sports, craft, or club
Curriculum highlights
- Marathi reading fluency and composition
- Mental math and written math through Grade 4
- English as a second language — reading, speaking, and simple writing
- Environmental Studies (EVS) grounded in observation
- Values-based daily reflection
- Weekly music, art and physical education
